But the government's latest ruling in this sector might just make these celebs think twice before they say yes to a brand. The government has decided to accept the requests of a parliament party to impose strict actions on celebrities for endorsing products and for misleading ads. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, are now facing jail time for up to five years or a fine of 50 lakh rupees for the controversial brands they endorsed.
